ORC Worldwide Appoints William C. Bruce to Lead Global Labor and Employee Relations Practice

NEW YORK--ORC Worldwide (ORC), a leading international human resources consulting and management firm, today announced the appointment of William C. Bruce as senior vice president of the firm’s global labor and employee relations practice area.

Bruce brings 30 years of experience in building and implementing employee relations strategies, facilitating successful global collective bargaining agreements and managing European works councils to his new position. Most recently, he served as counsel to the New York law firm of Bond, Schoeneck & King. He is also the former vice president of labor and employee relations for United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where he was responsible for 220,000 employees in six operating units. In addition, he has served as legal counsel for a number of major corporations and a private university.

Bruce has been featured as an expert on labor relations on CNN and ABC’s Nightline as well as in The Wall Street Journal, and served as adjunct professor at the Hartford Graduate Center of Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. He earned his law degree from Yale Law School and holds a B.A. in political science, summa cum laude, from the University of New Haven. He is admitted to the bar in Connecticut, Florida, and the District of Columbia.
